What is automotive detailing according to Attention to Every Detail?
At Attention to Every Detail we define automotive detailing as all activities associated with and leading to every facet of an automobile being cleaned, protected, and in optimum condition.  Basically, automotive detailing is keeping your car looking its best at all times.

What kind of vehicles can be detailed?
All types of cars and trucks both new and old, even brand new vehicles need detailing.

What parts of a vehicle can be detailed?
Automotive detailing focuses on the exterior and interior of your car, that doesn’t exclude any surface however.  We detail whatever the customer desires anywhere on the car, even your exhaust!

Why is Attention to Every Detail different from other car washes and detail shops?
We are detailing enthusiasts at heart, detailing is not just a job for us.  Our name says it all, we pay attention to every little detail inside and out to provide a head turning shine from top to bottom.  We are the opposite of high volume low quality establishments.  We use the finest products available, not bulk or over the counter products, considered the pinnacle of the detailing industry.  We treat every vehicle as if it were our own, exacting the highest of standards before we release the vehicle back to each customer.

Why should I get a detail?
Your car has a variety of delicate surfaces inside and out. They are under constant attack from Mother Nature, other vehicles, and people just to name a few.  If you park under or near trees, sap from leaves and branches.  Airborne contaminants like brake dust, acid rain, bird droppings, pollen, road tar, and road paint.   If your car was parked outside at some point then dried on water spots (won’t come off during a regular wash) and U.V. rays, if you live near the coast salt and other ocean born contaminants are extremely corrosive. Inside your vehicle is under attack too, dirt, food and pet stains on any interior surface(mostly carpet and upholstery), foul odors from smoke, bacteria, and other airborne contaminants.  Degraded leather (as long as it isn’t cracked or severely creased we can make it look like new).  Foggy film on windows, dust and dirt settled on your vinyl, plastic, or wood surfaces.  If your vehicle has any of the above, come see Attention to Every Detail.

What problems with my vehicle can a detail solve?
Exterior-Paint problems such as scuffs, scratches, swirl marks, spider webbing, holograms, paint marks, hazy or dull appearance, oxidation, water spots, bonded contaminants (tree sap, bugs, brake dust, road tar, bird droppings), and minor pitting just to name a few. Trim fading, discoloration, and oxidation.  Wheel problems such as caked on brake dust and bonded contaminants. On your windows, water spots, streaking, and minor scratches.  Metal oxidation on bumpers, exhaust, and trim.  Headlight and tail light fading and much, much more.
Interior-Film on windows, dust and dirt settled on vinyl, plastic, or wood, stains on carpet and upholstery, foul odors, a variety of leather problems, and any other evidence of dirt.

So with all the problems attacking my vehicle, How do I keep it looking new?
Fixing all existing problems then periodic maintenance is the key to keeping your vehicle looking its best.  That’s why we offer maintenance packages to keep your car in top notch shape.  One full detail can remove most or all of the problems your car has encountered.  After these problems are fixed you must protect the surface to prevent the problem  from reoccurring.

Do new cars need to be detailed?
Yes, even though you might think a new car comes detailed it doesn’t.  Your NEW car was transported from the factory by truck (imports ride on a boat first and sit next to the ocean until picked up by the transport truck) and then sat on the dealer lot for a period before you took ownership.  During transport the vehicle was subject to all the same attacks that any car faces and once it arrived at the dealer, it sits unattended save for a quick periodic or final cleaning before you pick it up.  A new vehicles interior is subject to test and other driving where dirt is deposited and never fully removed.  In short, a new vehicle definitely needs a detail.

Is it O.K. to use a drive through car wash for a quick cleaning?
In our opinion NO, these establishments are more concerned with your money than your vehicles condition.  They use the same washing and drying materials for every car and usually use an unacceptable amount of pressure on your paint.  This pressure can do serious damage to your paint, it is possible that your car will leave in much worse condition than it arrived.

Can a detail help the resale value of my car?
Yes, whether you trade your vehicle in to a dealer or sell it privately.  Appraisers take visual condition into account when assessing the trade in value of your car.    Perspective private buyers will as well.  It will be much easier to sell a detailed car than one that isn’t.

My car is leased, can a detail save me from contractual penalties?
Yes, if your car is leased you are bound by contract to return it in optimum condition save for normal wear and tear.  A detail can fix problems that developed over your lease term and save you from costly penalties upon return.
